Every fragrance we review is worn for a minimum of two weeks in the conditions our readers live in: commutes, air-conditioned offices, humidity and late evenings. We log longevity at fixed intervals and note projection at conversational distance.

What we will not write

We do not claim that any product is scientifically proven to cause attraction. We do not make medical, hormonal or therapeutic claims. We do not use superlative market claims such as "India's number one". Where the evidence is unsettled — as it is with human pheromone research — we say so plainly.
